Questions

Everything about the tracker, the prices and your email.

How do you find the best price?

Bright Data checks the price of each product at every store you picked, every one to three days from late October and every day from Nov 20. We keep every price, show you the trend and the cheapest store, and email you when the price drops below the price you set.

How does product search work?

Product search is not available on the live site yet. Paste the full link from a store’s product page to track it. Each store link uses one of your 10 list slots and has its own alert price. Search previews in our local demo use saved examples, not live prices.

What is Bright Data?

Bright Data is a web data platform. Its tools read public web pages the way your browser does, at scale. We use the Web Scraper API, Scraper Studio and Web Unlocker to collect the price straight from each store’s product page.

Which stores work?

Amazon in any country, Walmart, Target and Best Buy, plus most other online stores that show the price on the product page. Prices stay in the store’s own currency: dollars, euros, pounds and others.

Is it free?

Yes. The tracker is made by thehype, and prices are collected with Bright Data. There are no ads in the emails.

What happens to my email?

We use it only to send price emails for your products. You can unsubscribe in one click from any email. All personal data is deleted by Dec 27, 2026.

What if a discount isn’t real?

We show it. If a store raises the price before the sale and then “cuts” it back, the trend makes it obvious, and on Black Friday we say whether the sale price is really the lowest we saw. More in Are Black Friday deals real?
