Privacy policy

Version of Oct 26, 2026.

Black Friday Check is run by thehype: Crezee FZC, Business Centre, Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, Sharjah, UAE 77239. Questions about your data, and requests to see or delete it: [email protected].

What we keep and why

We don’t store IP addresses. They are used in memory to limit how often a form can be sent and are passed to hCaptcha with the captcha check. The site sets no cookies of its own. Before you send the form, your draft list (the product links and their names) is kept in your browser’s local storage, on your device only, so it’s still there if you come back; it’s removed when you send the form or clear the list. Once you open your list, its private link is kept there too, so the home page can take you back to it; it stays on your device and is removed when you unsubscribe. On the public pages (home, this policy, terms and the Black Friday guide) we measure visits and page speed with Cloudflare Web Analytics: it records the page address, the referring site, page load timings, your country and the type of browser and device, sets no cookies and doesn’t follow you across sites; the list, confirmation and link pages have no analytics.

Product prices are collected from store pages and kept without any link to people.

If you paste a public Amazon wishlist, Bright Data opens that wishlist page once to read which products are on it. We add up to 10 of them to your list as ordinary product links. What the wishlist contains is held only in the server’s memory until the end of the day; the wishlist’s ID stays in our record of paid page requests until Dec 27, 2026.

Legal basis
